Full job description

FluidPRO is a well established company within the community, with operations in Northern Alberta and BC. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy-Duty Technician with extensive experience working on logging, agricultural, and heavy equipment, to join our expansive team.

This role requires the ability to operate a service truck and travel out of town to support equipment in forestry, agricultural, and industrial environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet of equipment including:
Logging equipment: skidders, processors, loaders, and forestry support equipment
Agricultural equipment: tractors, implements, and farm support machinery
Heavy equipment: dozers, excavators, loaders, and other off-road machinery
Perform field service work at remote locations using a company service truck
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently
Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing
Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and safety documentation
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and industry regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service truck, tools, and equipment

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Experience with logging and agricultural equipment and asset
Strong working knowledge of:
Diesel engines
Hydraulic systems
Electrical and electronic controls
Experience working in forestry, agricultural, and remote job-site environments
Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset
Valid driver’s license; Class 1 or 3 an asset
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Field Work & Travel Requirements:

Required to operate a service truck for field repairs
Willingness to travel out of town based on operational needs
Comfortable working extended hours, weekends, and emergency callouts as required
Ability to work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions

Competitive Hourly wage depending on Experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
