Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Salary: Based on experience
Vacation: Two weeks annually

Liquid Edge Oilfield Services Ltd. is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Grande Prairie.

This position is responsible for processing accurate and timely biweekly payroll for approximately 50 employees. We offer a welcoming and supportive workplace with a great team atmosphere.

The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to manage payroll deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

Process biweekly payroll for approximately 50 employees
Review employee hours, overtime, vacation pay, deductions, and other payroll information
Ensure payroll is accurate and submitted on time
Maintain employee payroll records and update employee information as required
Prepare Records of Employment and other payroll-related documentation
Calculate and submit payroll remittances
Respond to employee payroll questions professionally and promptly
Assist with year-end payroll duties, including T4 preparation
Maintain the confidentiality of employee and company information
Provide general administrative and accounting support as required

Qualifications

Previous payroll, bookkeeping, or accounting experience is preferred
Payroll certification or credentials are considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to meet firm biweekly payroll deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with payroll or accounting software is considered an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software
