Our GRANDE PRAIRIE BRANCH has an exciting opportunity for a INVENTORY SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our team!

What You Will Do:

The Inventory Support Specialist monitors branch inventory and ensure the branch is properly stocked to meet market demands. You will work with your team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

Investigate daily stock reports and adjust as required
Monitoring stock levels relating to special orders, replacements, or obsolete SKUs.
Maintaining reports related to customer specific SKUs and establish base inventory numbers.
Review scheduled returns of unsold merchandise to vendors
Perform scheduled cycle counts
Assist the Parts Department with order shortages.
Review and track outstanding branch-to-branch stock transfers.
Process fillable backorder invoices.
Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

2-3 years prior experience in supply chain management, logistics, warehousing or purchasing is preferred.
Completed education in supply chain management, logistics, purchasing or inventory management an asset.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Able to lift parts upwards of 20 lbs, use ladders at varying heights, frequent walking in a large warehouse
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence
