The Role:
As an Optician, you will be working with our Optical Team fitting patients with proper lenses/frames, completing adjustments and repairs while providing them world class service and enhancing their quality of life.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, possesses a successful track record in sales, exceptional customer service, and can build relationships with people from all walks of life and is genuinely passionate about helping people.
Optical experience is required for this position.
What does an Optician do?
- Help patients choose frames that work best with their face shape, personality, style and need.
- Understands a patient's visual needs and recommends a lens that will provide the best vision for them.
- Take measurements on lenses that can be made correctly for each patient
- Uses different techniques in fitting patients with special visual needs.
- Creates eyewear orders to send to labs and receiving them to dispense to patients.
- Perform administrative tasks such as receiving payments, patient billings, recalls, document management and data collection.
We are seeking an experienced optical candidate with the right attitude who is self driven, friendly, flexible and adaptable. Wage will be dependent on experience and education.

Clinic hours:
Monday, Thursday and Friday: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Full-time hours: 35-40 per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent (1)
