POSITION: CT Technologist

JOB TYPE: Full Time

LOCATION: Grande Prairie, Alberta

SALARY/WAGE: $50-65/hour, commensurate with experience

JOB SUMMARY:
The Agency is assisting True Medical Imaging in recruiting a CT Technologist to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform CT examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Interpret requisitions, prepare and assess patientsfor the exam.
Position patients for imaging and ensure their safety and comfort.
Monitor patients during scans and ensure images meet quality standards.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
Maintain clean rooms and equipment, promptly reporting service requirements.
Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technology (ACMDTT).
Minimum three (3) years of CT experience preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
Experience in a private diagnostic imaging environment is considered an asset.
