Full job description

Mill Creek Painters Ltd. is a fast-growing residential and commercial painting company known for delivering high-quality, stress-free painting services. We are looking for experienced painters who can produce high-quality work with minimal supervision and contribute to a strong, efficient crew.

This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for individuals with hands-on painting experience, especially in commercial environments.

What You’ll Do

Follow direction from the Lead Painter to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
Prepare surfaces (sanding, cleaning, patching, masking)
Apply paint and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Work on both residential and commercial projects, including larger-scale jobs
Maintain clean, organized job sites
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients

What We’re Looking For

Previous painting experience required (commercial experience strongly preferred)
Ability to work independently and maintain productivity throughout the day
Reliable vehicle (projects may be up to 60 minutes outside of Grande Prairie)
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Professional attitude and strong customer service skills

Key Skills & Experience

Commercial painting (offices, warehouses, multi-unit, etc.)
Residential painting (walls, ceilings, trim, cabinets)
Drywall repair and surface preparation
Caulking and finishing work
Experience with spray equipment
Ability to follow systems and produce consistent, high-quality results

Lead Painters:

Manage small crews and run projects
Ensure quality and customer satisfaction
Earn $27+ per hour based on performance
