Job Description:
As a Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for feeding our campers and staff the most important meal of the day. You will also be assisting in daily duties to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment, assisting with special diets and the dietary needs of both our staff and campers along with normal every day meal preparation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with standards of cleanliness and health and safety regulations.
- Ensures compliance with standards for grooming and appearance.
- Prevent the contamination and spoilage of food
- Help to prepare food for each meal period and assure prep is done for the next day
- Help to maintain the cleanliness of dining area
- Ensure all dietary needs are met for both staff and campers
- Spot-checks the accuracy of deliveries to ensure compliance with purchasing and receiving standards
Camp Winston reserves the right to re-assign the duties of an employee at any time to ensure the safety of our campers, teens and staff. Job may include “other duties as assigned.”

Qualifications and Experience Considered an Asset:
- A basic understanding and knowledge of cleanliness
- A keen sense of responsibility
- Prior kitchen experience
- Willingness to learn
- Food Handlers Certificate

- Hours will vary during the time of employment at camp.
