Position Overview
As a Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility is to generate sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience. We are looking for confident individuals who are comfortable approaching customers, building relationships, identifying customer needs, and closing sales.
While assisting with daily store operations is an important part of the role, sales performance, customer engagement, and achieving individual and team sales goals are the key measures of success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service (Primary Focus)
- Proactively engage customers and create a welcoming shopping experience
- Build strong customer relationships and develop a loyal client base
- Identify customer needs and recommend products that match their preferences
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual and store sales goals
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge across all brands and collections
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Follow up with clients when appropriate to drive repeat business
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
Store Operations (Secondary Responsibilities)
- Assist with receiving, replenishing, and organizing merchandise
- Maintain store presentation, visual merchandising, and cleanliness standards
- Support inventory counts and stock management
- Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Maintain fitting rooms, sales floor, and stock areas
- Follow company policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, outgoing, and customer-focused personality
- Passion for fashion and premium brands
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to lift 10–40 lbs as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
