Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee our landscaping projects with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise a team of skilled landscapers, and ensure that all landscape maintenance, installation, and construction tasks are executed to the highest standards. Your leadership will drive project success, promote safety, and foster a collaborative environment that inspires excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about horticulture and landscape design who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily landscape construction, maintenance, and installation activities, ensuring timely completion of projects
Lead and motivate a team of landscapers, providing clear instructions and support to maximize productivity and quality
Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, mowing, planting, irrigation system installation and repair, and garden care
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
Assist with planning and executing landscaping designs, including plant selection, layout, and construction details
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to project specifications
Manage equipment usage and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in landscape construction or maintenance roles with demonstrated leadership skills
Strong knowledge of horticulture principles including gardening techniques, plant care, and landscape design fundamentals
Experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including pruning, fertilizing, pest control, and soil management
Construction experience related to outdoor projects such as hardscaping or grading is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with clients or project managers
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness
