Low Voltage Security Field Manager
SynergizeX Inc. is seeking a Low Voltage Security Field Manager to support security installation projects throughout Indiana and surrounding service areas.
This is a field leadership role for someone with strong low voltage security experience who understands how security systems are installed, terminated, tested, and delivered in the field. The Field Manager is not expected to perform all physical installation work. Most cabling, device installation, and general field labor will be completed by subcontracted installation teams.
The Field Manager is responsible for keeping the site organized, confirming readiness, supervising contractors, coordinating with the project management team, verifying workmanship, and completing head-end terminations at panels and racks. This role is ideal for a senior technician or lead technician who is ready to move into a higher level field leadership position while still staying close to the technical side of the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation teams and contractors on active low voltage security projects
- Confirm site readiness before and during field execution
- Coordinate daily work priorities with the project management team
- Review project documents, drawings, device schedules, cabling requirements, and installation plans
- Verify that team is completing work correctly, safely, and professionally
- Confirm cable routing, device installation, labeling, dressing, and workmanship quality
- Terminate access control, intrusion, video, intercom, and related low voltage hardware at panels, enclosures, and equipment racks
- Support rack, panel, and head-end organization to ensure clean and serviceable installations
- Identify site issues, missing materials, access problems, design conflicts, and coordination concerns early
- Communicate daily progress, blockers, manpower needs, and next steps to the project management team
- Coordinate professionally with general contractors, integrators, site contacts, and other trades as needed
- Support testing, verification, punch list completion, and closeout readiness
- Maintain accurate field documentation, progress updates, photos, and installation records
- Represent SynergizeX Inc. professionally on site and help ensure each project is delivered in a controlled, organized, and predictable manner
Required Experience
- Experience in low voltage security installation, access control, video surveillance, intrusion alarm, intercom, structured cabling, or related systems
- Strong understanding of field installation practices, cabling, terminations, device wiring, panel layouts, racks, and low voltage equipment
- Ability to read and understand drawings, risers, device schedules, wiring diagrams, and project documentation
- Experience leading technicians, coordinating crews, supervising subcontractors, or managing field execution
- Ability to terminate low voltage security hardware at panels, enclosures, and equipment racks
- Strong troubleshooting ability and the judgment to identify installation issues before they become project delays
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates to project managers and site contacts
- Organized, dependable, and able to keep work moving without constant direction
- Comfortable working on active construction sites and coordinating around other trades
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a lead technician, senior security technician, site supervisor, field manager, foreman, or low voltage project lead
- Experience with access control systems, intrusion systems, CCTV/video systems, intercoms, and structured cabling
- Experience supervising subcontracted labor or third-party installation crews
- Experience with panel builds, rack terminations, cable dressing, labeling, testing, and closeout documentation
- Familiarity with commercial security projects, construction environments, and multi-site rollout work

Pay: $68,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
