Substitute Teacher/Non-Certified Classroom Supervisors
Substitute Teachers
The substitute teacher is assigned to work in short term and occasional positions in the absence of a regular teacher. A substitute teacher is required to teach students, have an understanding of a subject matter, as well as to provide skills required for programmed lessons and purposeful training for the classroom they are assigned in the K-12 school environment.

Salary based on Collective Agreement, mileage provided for residences over 20 km from school
Non-Certified Classroom Supervisors
The non-certified classroom supervisor assigned to work on an occasional on-call basis. Non-certified classroom supervisors are contacted when no substitute teacher is available. Non-certified classroom supervisors are required to supervise students, implement plans that have been provided and support students in the K-12 school environment. In-service and school level support will be provided.
Requirements:

Degree, Diploma or High School Diploma

- An ability to follow lesson plans and manage a class of students

Non-Certified Classroom Supervisors will be employed and paid for a half-day or a full day.
Wage is $25.33/hour based on a 7 hour day, mileage provided for residences over 20 km from school.
