Some honesty up front, so you can decide early whether this is for you.
This job is demanding. Every job post says that, so here is our version. You will be handed problems with no playbook and asked what you plan to do about them. Not as a test. We ask because we do not know yet either. You will get feedback early, because we would rather help you fix something in week two than in month six. Some weeks are messy. We are building things that do not exist yet, and that is less tidy than it sounds in a job post.
If that sounds stressful rather than fun, this one is not for you, and we would rather you find that out now than in your third week.
A few things we ask:
First rule: write your own application.
Second rule: write your own application.
Third rule: we read hundreds of these, so AI writing tends to stand out. If yours reads that way we will move on, and we would rather tell you that now than leave you guessing.
Fourth rule: if your application could have been sent to any marketing job at any company, we will assume you sent it to all of them.
Fifth rule: name one thing of ours you have read, watched or listened to, and tell us what you actually thought of it. The links are below. Skip it and we will assume you did not have time to look.
Sixth rule: yes, this is a lot to ask before you have even had an interview. That is the job.
We use AI here every day and we want you to use it too. Research with it, check your grammar with it, argue with it. Just do not hand us something it wrote.
Three plain sentences in your voice beat five polished paragraphs in nobody’s.
Still here? Good. Here is what we actually do:
Our mission is Empowering Leaders to Strengthen Communities.
We believe strong businesses create opportunities for employees, families, clients, and the communities they serve. That’s why we help ambitious landscape entrepreneurs grow through better marketing, stronger leadership, and practical business education.
Every week, we create valuable content. We record conversations with industry leaders on the IM Landscape Growth Podcast. We capture remarkable client success stories. We host events. We develop educational resources. We work alongside some of the best landscape companies across North America and learn something worth sharing every day.
The Role
We’re looking for someone to help build the marketing engine that turns our expertise into awareness, trust, and qualified demand for Intrigue.
This is not a client-facing agency role. You won’t be managing marketing for landscape companies. You’ll be marketing the company that markets to landscape companies. It reads like a riddle and takes about a week to get used to.
You’ll have a great deal of autonomy, but autonomy here comes with accountability. The freedom is real, and so is the follow up.

What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in growing Intrigue’s audience and generating qualified demand across North America.
You’ll turn the expertise we’re already creating into marketing that helps more landscape business owners discover Intrigue. That could mean promoting a new episode of the IM Landscape Growth Podcast, transforming a client success story into a case study and social campaign, creating assets for paid advertising, developing an educational resource, capturing content at an industry event, or repurposing a webinar into content across multiple channels.
You’ll work closely with our Demand Generation team to create, distribute, and continuously improve content across social media, video, email, our website, paid advertising, and events.
We’re not looking for someone to simply keep a content calendar full. We’re looking for someone who wants to help build the demand generation engine that fuels Intrigue’s growth.
Audience Growth & Content Distribution
Create and distribute content that helps more landscape business owners discover Intrigue by repurposing our best ideas across social media, video, email, our website, and other marketing channels.
Podcast Growth & Promotion
Turn every episode of the IM Landscape Growth Podcast into multiple high-quality marketing assets, including clips, graphics, audiograms, short-form video, and promotional campaigns.
Demand Generation Campaigns
Create educational resources, lead magnets, email content, landing pages, and paid advertising creative that attracts qualified landscape business owners into the Intrigue ecosystem.
Client Success Stories & Social Proof
Transform client results into compelling stories, testimonials, videos, and case studies that build trust and demonstrate the impact of partnering with Intrigue.
Events & Community Engagement
Promote, capture, and extend the value of webinars, conferences, workshops, and other industry events through thoughtful content before, during, and after each event.
Success in this role isn’t measured by how much content you produce. It’s measured by whether more of the right people discover Intrigue because of your work.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can take raw ideas and turn them into powerful marketing that commands attention, earns trust, and drives real business growth.
You’ll bring experience with:
Creating native content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and other digital channels
Hands-on video editing (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Riverside, or similar): short-form, podcast clips, audiograms, testimonials, event recaps
Creating social graphics, lead magnets, marketing collateral, and other creative assets using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Writing and storytelling across long- and short-form content: hooks, captions, and copy that fit the platform and the audience
A working understanding of how channel activity drives awareness, engagement, and leads
Content marketing, demand generation, audience growth, brand building, and lead generation
Developing creative for paid advertising campaigns
Assets
Experience producing paid-ad creative and multiple variations from one brief
B2B or business-owner audiences; home services, trades, or landscaping
Podcast production, event marketing, photography/videography
Comfort on camera
Social scheduling and analytics tools, and email platforms
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is driven by your ability to consistently turn ideas into content that attracts, engages, and builds trust with landscape business owners.

You demonstrate momentum by shipping consistently, applying feedback, and contributing content that aligns with our standards and resonates with the right audience.
Your First 12 Months
Success means becoming a reliable driver of demand generation. You consistently produce high-quality content that expands our reach, strengthens our brand, and supports lead generation efforts.
