Role Summary:
The Senior Talent Attraction Specialist will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment (sourcing, screening, and hiring processes) for salaried employees including senior levels and challenging to fill roles. This position plays an active role in the continuous improvement and evolution of our talent attraction tools and practices. This will be a contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with People & Culture Business Partners and Hiring Managers to align on a sourcing strategy for vacant roles.
The Senior TA specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment to source and hire top talent into the organization.
This role is also responsible for facilitating hiring recommendations based on information obtained through behavioural interviewing, reference checks and other background checks.
Proactively develop a strong internal and external pipeline of diverse talent for future hiring needs.
Leverage internal talent sources to drive mobility and employee referrals.
Act as a SME to make recommendations to improve Arterra Wines Canada employer brand and deliver market intelligence to the business.
Makes recommendations on the development of new tools, technology, resources, and education materials to improve the TA function and build manager capability on effective talent attraction practices.
Supports the execution and maintenance of TA reporting, policies, and programs i.e.: employee referral program, background screening etc.
Ensure hiring data is accurate and up to date to facilitate accurate TA reporting analysis, trends, etc.
What You Bring:
Completed post-secondary education in HR is a strong asset.
CHRP designation or working towards is an asset.
Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition with previous experience of hiring for senior and hard to fill roles.
Demonstrated working knowledge in key TA functions including policy and program development, analytics and data driven metrics, training, recruitment.
Knowledge of employment compliance in Canada related to recruiting and hiring.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities.
Exercises considerable judgment and independent action on a variety of matters requiring confidentiality and diplomacy.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Enjoys working in cross-functional teams, collaborating to execute and achieve organizational goals.
Proactively embraces change as an opportunity for growth and innovation.
Utilizes change as a catalyst for driving process improvements and enhancing efficiency.
What We Offer:
Compensation: Budgeted Range – $75,072-$103,224. The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
