Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the timely preparation of fresh, delicious sandwiches. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong attention to detail, and experience in food service environments. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sandwiches, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and delivering a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy hours
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout food preparation and serving areas
Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance sales
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Kitchen or food industry experience is desirable but not required; willingness to learn is essential
