Position Overview
Scotia Tire is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Supply Sales Coordinator to support the growth and service of tire supply products throughout the Halifax and surrounding market.
This role operates as a mobile customer support and sales position, similar to a professional tool or route-based sales representative. The successful candidate will operate a fully stocked company supply vehicle, visiting automotive shops, tire retailers, and dealerships to provide convenient access to essential tire supplies.
Working as part of Scotia Tire’s Customer Experience Development Team, this position plays an important role in strengthening customer relationships, improving supply availability, and expanding the company’s supply product sales within our retail partner network.

Core Responsibilities
Customer Relationship & Account Support
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Scotia Tire customers within the assigned territory
Serve as a primary point of contact for tire supply products and consumables
Regularly visit accounts to understand shop operations and recommend appropriate products

Supply Sales Development
Grow tire supply sales within the territory through regular customer visits and proactive account management
Identify new business opportunities and open new supply accounts

Recommend products that improve shop efficiency and operational performance
Support the development of Scotia Tire’s supply category as an additional value-added offering for customers

Mobile Route Operations
Operate a company-provided supply vehicle to service accounts on a structured route
Visit customers on a scheduled basis (depending on account volume)
Restock commonly used supply products and generate orders during customer visits
Maintain a clean, professional, and well-organized vehicle
Ensure the mobile inventory is merchandised and presented professionally

Maintain appropriate inventory levels within the mobile supply vehicle
Coordinate replenishment with Scotia Tire DCs

Qualifications
Sales experience (automotive, wholesale, route sales, or tool sales preferred)
Automotive background or interest is an asset
Strong relationship-building and customer communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong organizational and territory management abilities
Comfortable managing mobile inventory and sales reporting
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and move supply boxes (up to approximately 50 lbs)

Automotive or tire industry experience
Experience in route-based sales environments (Snap-On, Mac Tools, Parts Runner, etc.)
