Overview
The Cafe is a vibrant social enterprise where great food, friendly faces, and community spirit come together. This is a full-time permanent position. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, which we will discuss with you during the interview. Cafe hours are primarily Monday- Friday, from 8:30 am -4:00 pm, but may include some evening or weekend hours.

Ensure professional and respectful interactions with participants, employees, and the business of CCOA
Experience working in a commercial kitchen and a similar customer-facing environment is preferred.
Knowledge and experience with excellent food preparation skills.
Ability to work well under pressure with high customer traffic.
Taking initiative and working well independently.
Attention to detail while ensuring quality assurance.
Flexible and able to work well within a team environment.
Prepare food and beverages in line with food Hygiene, Health, and Safety Standards.
Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks
Willingness to assist with various tasks and adapt to change.
Comply with CCOA policies and procedures
Valid Nova Scotia driver's license and a clear driver abstract required.
Criminal and Vulnerable Sector checks required.
First Aid/CPR
Nova Scotia Food Handlers/Food Safety Certificate is required.
Ability to perform all physical duties of the job, which will require long periods of time standing and the ability to lift to 30lbs.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
