Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Concrete Curb Machine Operator to join our concrete and civil construction team. The successful candidate will operate slipform/curb machines (primarily Gomaco GT3600 or similar) to install concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Operate concrete curb and gutter machines (slipform/curb machines)
Perform daily equipment inspections, setup, calibration, and cleanup
Work closely with grade setters, laborers, and truck drivers to maintain steady production
Monitor concrete consistency, alignment, and elevation.
Make minor mechanical adjustments and report maintenance issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety policies and site-specific regulations

Minimum Qualifications

Strong understanding of concrete placement, finishing, and curing
Ability to read grades, stakes, stringlines, and construction drawings
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Valid class 5 driver’s license
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physically capable of performing job duties (standing, lifting, bending)

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years experience operating concrete curb or slipform equipment
Experience with Gomaco, or similar machines
Supervisory or lead-hand experience
Experience working on municipal or heavy civil projects
