Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various operational tasks across our project sites. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the successful completion of projects while gaining valuable industry experience. The Laborer will be responsible for assisting with physical tasks, maintaining safety standards, and supporting team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment on-site
Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and handling basic tasks as directed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites to promote safety and efficiency
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision
Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and stacking materials
Assist with site cleanup and disposal of debris to uphold a safe working environment
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines

Experience

Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in manual labor roles is a plus
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different job site requirements

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Middle Sackville, NS
