Full job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator for our client's fast-paced warehouse operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has experience operating Order Picker forklifts .

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse
Load and unload trucks while ensuring accuracy and product integrity
Use slip sheet equipment to unload containers, when required
Perform order picking, palletizing, and general warehouse duties
Manually load, unload, and move products as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety, security, and housekeeping procedures
Communicate effectively with warehouse team members, dispatch personnel, and drivers
Support daily warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid Forklift Certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience operating an Order Picker forklift in a warehouse environment
Previous warehouse experience required
Experience with case picking, palletizing, and general labour duties
Slip sheet experience considered a strong asset
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high energy level
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
