Orthodontist – Locum Opportunity
Nova Scotia | June 29–30, 2026
A well-established orthodontic clinic in Nova Scotia is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Orthodontist to provide locum coverage on June 29 and June 30, 2026.
You will join a collaborative clinical team committed to delivering exceptional orthodontic care and creating positive, confidence-building patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive orthodontic care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management
Deliver high-quality care with a strong focus on patient experience and clinical outcomes
Supervise and support clinical team members, including hygienists and assistants
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Perform bonding and debonding of orthodontic appliances, including brackets and aligner therapy
Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety protocols, and clinical standards
Clearly communicate treatment plans, progress, and outcomes with patients and families
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow

Requirements

Licensed Orthodontist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
Proven experience in orthodontics, including fixed appliances and/or clear aligner therapy
Strong clinical skills and commitment to high-quality patient care
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
Current CPR and First Aid certification
