Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Detailer / Project Coordinator (Rebar) to join our engineering and construction team. This role involves leading the creation of precise rebar detailing, coordinating project workflows, and ensuring seamless communication between design and construction teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in various CAD software and drafting tools, with a focus on structural reinforcement detailing for construction projects. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while utilizing advanced drafting skills and project management capabilities.

Duties

Develop detailed rebar shop drawings and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate interpretation of design specifications.
Utilize SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and 2D animation tools to visualize project layouts and facilitate client presentations.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and revisions to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Review construction documents for accuracy and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Assist in drafting complex schematics and technical drawings related to structural reinforcement.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts and optimize rebar layouts for efficiency and safety.
Support the integration of CAD models into larger project workflows, ensuring consistency across all documentation.

Experience

Proven experience as a Detailer or Project Coordinator in the construction or civil engineering industry, specifically working with rebar detailing.
Extensive proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, Schematics, Drafting, and CAD integration tools.
Familiarity with structural design principles and construction practices related to reinforced concrete structures.
Experience in using SketchUp, NavisWorks, 2D animation tools for visualization purposes is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, engineers, architects, and construction teams. This role is integral to delivering precise structural reinforcement designs that meet project specifications while supporting efficient project execution through advanced technical skills.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
