Position Overview
As a Certified Podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work in a supportive clinical environment that allows you to practice at the top of your license with full operational backing.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat foot and ankle conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform in-office podiatric procedures as appropriate
- Educate patients on preventive care and long-term foot health
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Current certification to practice Podiatry in Nova Scotia.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Experience in pain management strategies tailored to foot and ankle conditions.
- Background in pediatrics is highly desirable for treating young patients effectively.
- Ability to deliver high-quality patient care with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with medication administration and data collection for clinical documentation or research purposes.
- Medical office experience is advantageous for managing outpatient services efficiently.
