Overview
Triple 8 Plumbing & Heating Inc. is seeking a motivated, skilled, and customer-focused Service Plumber to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of plumbing repairs, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting in residential and, commercial settings. We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and professional solutions.
As a Service Plumber, you will work independently while collaborating with our team to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, water heaters, piping, and related equipment in residential and, commercial settings.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective, long-lasting repair solutions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with customers, explaining findings, recommended repairs, and completed work.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, materials used, and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members and office staff to provide exceptional customer service and timely completion of service calls.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency plumbing service, as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with extensive knowledge of plumbing systems and building infrastructure.
- Proficiency in carpentry for framing, repairing, or supporting plumbing fixtures when required.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems is considered a strong asset.
- Valid G Class driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment; welding experience is an asset.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in a variety of environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
