Novel Photo Booth is looking for outgoing, dependable, and professional Photo Booth Attendant to join our team.
Please note: Applicants must be based in the Hamilton area and have access to a reliable vehicle. University and college students are encouraged to apply!
At Novel, we create interactive photo experiences for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations across Ontario. We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy connecting with others and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
What You'll Do
As a Photo Booth Attendant, you'll be responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging photo booth experience from setup to teardown.
Responsibilities include:
- Picking up event equipment from our Hamilton studio
- Driving to and from event venues across Southern Ontario
- Setting up and testing our experiences before guests arrive
- Welcoming guests and guiding them through the experience
- Creating a fun, warm, and engaging atmosphere
- Monitoring equipment and troubleshooting basic technical issues if they arise
- Keeping the activation area clean, organized, and photo-ready throughout the event
- Packing down and safely returning equipment after the event
- Representing the Novel brand with professionalism and enthusiasm at every event

Experience in hospitality, customer service, events, photography, content creation, retail, or brand ambassador work is considered an asset, but we're happy to train the right person.
Requirements
- Must be based in the Hamilton area
- Must have a valid G driver's licence
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle that can transport event equipment
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
- Comfortable lifting and transporting equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable using cameras, printers, and basic computer software
Position Details
- Casual, part-time contract position
- Most events take place Friday through Sunday, with occasional weekday opportunities.
- Hours vary based on bookings and seasonality.
Compensation
- Starting at $18–$25/hour, depending on experience and event responsibilities.
