Experienced Landscape Crew Leader

PMP Landscaping Ltd. is looking for an experienced, dependable Landscape Crew Leader who takes pride in producing high-quality work, leads by example, and is looking for long-term, stable employment.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can confidently lead a two-person maintenance crew and take ownership of job sites from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a two-person landscape maintenance crew
- Operate company truck and trailer safely
- Complete daily routes efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Perform and oversee:
- Lawn mowing, trimming, edging and blowing
- Garden bed maintenance (weeding, cultivating and detailing)
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate professionally with management, coworkers and clients
- Identify and resolve issues on-site
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of landscape maintenance experience
- Previous experience leading a crew or working as a senior team member
- Valid Ontario G or G2 driver's licence with a clean driving record (required)
- Experience driving a truck and trailer (required)
- Strong knowledge of commercial landscaping equipment
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented and professional
Assets (but not required)
- Snow plowing and salting experience
- Availability for winter snow operations
- Experience managing routes independently
Position Details
- Full-time seasonal position with year-round opportunities for the right candidate
- Typical hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (weather dependent)
- Occasional weekend work following rain delays
