Are you a skilled and emotionally attuned therapist seeking a collaborative and values-driven clinical environment? I am currently inviting applications from qualified individuals to join my growing therapy practice.
As a Registered Social Worker and Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, I provide Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) to couples, families and individuals. Because of the rapid growth of my practice in the last 7 years, I am looking to expand so as to give every client on my waitlist an opportunity to receive the services they are seeking. I am looking to welcome a like-minded clinician who is passionate about deep, relational work and committed to supporting clients through meaningful emotional healing.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a supportive and reflective practice rooted in attachment, systemic, and humanistic foundational theories. You will work with a diverse caseload and be part of a community where clinical growth and connection matter.
I am looking for someone who can contribute a minimum of 10 hours per week. This is a flexible job where you have the ability to create your own schedule. Applicants who can work a minimum of one evening and/or weekend per week will be highly considered.
My practice is based in Hamilton, Ontario, where I offer in-person and virtual therapy. Applicants are welcome to apply from anywhere in the province, and must be able to provide virtual therapy. Since more and more people are looking for in-person appointments, applicants open to providing in-person will also be highly considered.
I am primarily looking for someone who enjoys providing Individual Therapy to people across the life-span. Applicants who are passionate about family therapy and couples therapy, and can demonstrate advanced training in these areas, will also be considered.
Open to both fully registered clinicians and RP (Qualifying) candidates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience practicing the controlled act of psychotherapy (this does not include general counselling, case management, or psychoeducational support roles)
- Demonstrated experience conducting individual psychotherapy sessions
- Demonstrated experience working with family systems or practicing family therapy
- Strong clinical skills in working with emotion, trauma, and attachment-based work
- A solid grasp of the therapeutic relationship as a central tool for healing
- Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) training or strong interest in pursuing it is an asset
- A collaborative spirit and openness to clinical supervision
- Registration in good standing with OCSWSSW or CRPO, with authorization to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy

Pay: $80.00-$150.00 per hour
