Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a friendly, helpful shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding tools, equipment, and supplies throughout the store
- Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs
- Stay informed on current products, promotions, and store inventory
- Process and manage customer orders and special orders
- Communicate with vendors to track and resolve order issues
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory
- Maintain store merchandising standards, including pricing and signage
- Assist with local deliveries and stock transfers between warehouse and store locations when required
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
- Work collaboratively with coworkers and management to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience
- Experience working with tools and equipment (personal or professional)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 100 lbs

A Typical Day at TEGS Might Include
- Helping a contractor choose the right drill or cutting tool
- Locating specialty tools for a tradesperson on a tight timeline
- Receiving goods and stocking shelves
- Reogranizing displays and merchandising products
- Processing special orders for customers
- Loading tools or machinery into a customer's truck

Trades Experience Welcome
Experience in the trades is highly valued at TEGS. If you have worked in areas such as construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing etc. your hands-on experience with tools and equipment can make you a great fit for this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
