Early Childhood Educator (Éducatrice/Éducateur)
About the Role
We are looking for a caring, motivated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. Someone who will create engaging activities, ensure children’s safety and well‑being, and support their overall development in accordance with Accueillir la petite enfance and Ministère de la Famille standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead age‑appropriate activities
- Ensure children’s safety, health, and emotional well‑being
- Communicate daily with parents
- Observe and document children’s development
- Maintain a clean, organized environment
- Collaborate with the team and follow daycare policies
Requirements
- DEC/AEC in Early Childhood Education or recognized equivalency
- Valid first aid certification
- Background check (vérification d’antécédents judiciaires)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Warm, patient, and positive attitude
- French an asset
