Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient individual to join our team as a Person and Cashier. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and supporting food preparation and service operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service, cashiering, and food safety, with strong time management skills to ensure smooth daily operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic restaurant environment, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing sales and payments
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
Prepare and serve food items following food safety and sanitation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and serving areas
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
Assist in food preparation as needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic tasks
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues professionally

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
Experience in cashiering, serving, or food industry roles is desirable
Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
Ability to work in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
Basic understanding of upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
