Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing service requests. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and strong communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate smooth operations within our service department.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs.
Document customer concerns and relay information accurately to the service team.
Provide detailed explanations of services recommended, including necessary repairs and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and transactions.
Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a dealership or repair environment would be considered an asset.
Basic mechanical knowledge related to repair is highly desirable.
