Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Duties

Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Utilize power tools and equipment safely to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to clients.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and efficiency in the shop.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or service center setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex automotive systems.
Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
A valid driver's license is required.
stellanis Phase 3 training is preferred but not essential.
Potential for Team Lead position if able to prove ability for this role.
