About the Role
We are looking for a Account Manager, Dealer Solutions to manage and grow a portfolio of automotive dealership accounts.
In this role, you will own customer relationships, renewals, retention, and expansion revenue. You’ll partner closely with internal solution experts to ensure customers fully adopt our solutions and achieve measurable business outcomes.
This is not a hunting role — focus is on retention, growth, and customer success within an existing book of business.
What You’ll Do
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for dealership stakeholders (Dealer Principals, GMs, Fixed Ops, BDC, OEM reps)
- Build strong, long-term relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic check-ins
Renewals & Retention
- Own contract renewals from strategy through execution
- Identify at-risk accounts and implement recovery plans
- Communicate clear ROI and value to customers
Account Growth & Expansion
- Develop quarterly and annual account plans
- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities across:
- DMS
- CRM
- Service solutions
- Marketing tools
- Drive revenue growth within your book of business
Product Adoption & Performance
- Partner with solution experts to improve customer adoption
- Support dealerships in achieving:
- Improved service operations
- Better lead conversion
- Increased marketing ROI
- Translate insights into actionable account strategies
Customer Health & Risk Monitoring
- Track usage, satisfaction, and KPIs
- Manage escalations and proactively address issues
- Maintain accurate account health insights and action plans
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Customer Success, Product, Support, and Marketing teams
- Provide feedback on product enhancements and market trends
Travel
- 60–75% travel based on territory
What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in:
- Automotive SaaS
- Dealership technology
- Automotive retail operations
- Experience managing a portfolio of customers (retention + growth)
- Strong knowledge of dealership workflows:
- Fixed Ops, Variable Ops, CRM, Marketing
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DMS, CRM, Service, or Marketing platforms
- Background in dealership roles (BDC, service, sales, or marketing)
- Familiarity with OEM programs and compliance requirements
- Experience with account planning frameworks
