Full job description

At Blossom Dental Centre, we are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. We strive to create a positive patient experience while delivering high-quality care. We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Administrator to join our team.

You will play a key role in the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires strong administrative and customer service skills, knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, and experience with financial processes.

Dental assistants with administrative experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily administrative operations of the dental practice, including scheduling, billing, and patient record management.
Manage electronic dental records while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and appointment scheduling.
Maintain knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Ensure compliance with privacy legislation, healthcare regulations, and office policies.
Facilitate communication between patients, staff, and healthcare providers to promote a positive patient experience.
Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, insurance claims, and other financial processes.

Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year of dental administrative experience.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and dental procedures.
Proficient in billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Previous supervisory or management experience is an asset but not required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Experience with ClearDent is preferred.

Flexibility in scheduling and hours is available for the right candidate.
