Stetson Hinton GM is looking for an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team.
This position is primarily focused on new and pre-owned vehicle sales, with an added opportunity to contribute to dealership social media, customer engagement, and digital marketing. For the right candidate, this role also offers a future opportunity to grow into a backup Finance Manager position.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding customers through the complete vehicle purchase experience — from the first greeting, to product selection, to delivery, and continued follow-up after the sale. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a great listener, and someone who takes pride in building long-term customer relationships.

Greet customers in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner.

Prospect for new business and maintain an active customer base.

Work toward achieving individual and dealership sales goals.

Stay up to date on Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC products, features, technology, incentives, and programs.

Clearly explain vehicle features, options, benefits, and ownership advantages.

Complete dealership and manufacturer training as required.

Stay informed about competing brands, industry trends, pricing, and key market changes.

Represent Stetson Hinton GM with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace and appearance.

Assist with dealership social media content, including vehicle photos, videos, walkarounds, customer deliveries, promotions, and community-focused posts.

Help create engaging content that showcases inventory, dealership culture, events, and customer experiences.

Be comfortable appearing on camera or contributing ideas for dealership marketing when needed.

Support digital lead generation and customer engagement through online platforms.

Help promote the Stetson Hinton GM brand in a positive and professional way.

Prepare for customer deliveries and ensure vehicles are ready, clean, fueled, and properly presented.

Review paperwork and documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Ensure all steps of the sales process are completed in a timely and organized manner.

Work closely with management, finance, service, parts, and administration teams.

Follow dealership processes and compliance requirements.

Review daily activity and performance to better manage time, follow-up, and sales opportunities.

AMVIC licence or ability to obtain AMVIC licensing is required.

Must be available to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
