Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our store.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in all exchanges.
Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Stay informed about promotions, sales, and new products to effectively communicate with customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cashiering or customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
Demonstrated skills in sales techniques, including upselling and product demos.
A positive attitude with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle light lifting as needed.
