Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Indian Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes with precision and flair, ensuring every meal meets high standards of flavor, presentation, and food safety. Your expertise will contribute to creating a vibrant dining experience that delights our guests and showcases the rich culinary traditions of India. Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of traditional Indian dishes, including curries, dals, breads, and rice-based meals, following established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations.
Serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and notifying management of ingredient needs or shortages.
Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences that satisfy customer expectations.

Experience

Proven food service experience in a restaurant or similar setting, with a focus on Indian cuisine preferred.
Hands-on kitchen experience involving meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling.
Knowledge of Indian cooking methods, spices, ingredients, and traditional recipes is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
Previous experience in serving customers or working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting.
