Overlander Mountain Lodge & Stone Peak Restaurant is looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
This is a part-time position requiring a minimum commitment of two shifts per week, with the opportunity for additional hours during busy periods.
What You'll Do
As a Dishwasher, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring our team always has clean dishes, cookware, and utensils while supporting overall kitchen operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Attend daily shift briefings with the culinary team to receive updates on menu items, inventory, projected business levels, special events, and promotions.
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure guests and staff always have access to clean dishes and utensils.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing and work area.
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Empty garbage, compost, and recycling bins throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with team members and incoming shifts to ensure the dish station is fully stocked and prepared for service.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including preparing produce and ingredients as directed by the Chef or Sous Chef.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Support kitchen cleanliness, organization, timing, consistency, and operational standards by completing assigned cleaning and operational checklists.
- Assist other kitchen stations and team members as needed throughout the shift.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
