Full job description

Overlander Mountain Lodge & Stone Peak Restaurant is looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

This is a part-time position requiring a minimum commitment of two shifts per week, with the opportunity for additional hours during busy periods.

What You'll Do

As a Dishwasher, you'll play an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring our team always has clean dishes, cookware, and utensils while supporting overall kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include:

Attend daily shift briefings with the culinary team to receive updates on menu items, inventory, projected business levels, special events, and promotions.
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Ensure guests and staff always have access to clean dishes and utensils.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing and work area.
Keep storage areas clean, organized, and stocked.
Empty garbage, compost, and recycling bins throughout the shift.
Communicate effectively with team members and incoming shifts to ensure the dish station is fully stocked and prepared for service.
Assist with basic food preparation, including preparing produce and ingredients as directed by the Chef or Sous Chef.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Support kitchen cleanliness, organization, timing, consistency, and operational standards by completing assigned cleaning and operational checklists.
Assist other kitchen stations and team members as needed throughout the shift.

What We're Looking For

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards.
Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
