Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling under the supervision of kitchen staff.
Support food service operations by restocking supplies and ensuring the cleanliness of workstations.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, surfaces, and storage areas to promote a hygienic environment.
Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations during food handling and cleaning processes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
Assist with light food prep tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation are advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
