Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our landscaping team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping and horticultural tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape upkeep, and outdoor maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a safe and efficient manner. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the beauty and health of our clients' properties.

Responsibilities

Mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and maintaining plant beds to ensure aesthetic appeal
Operating equipment such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools for landscape projects
Installing and repairing irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth
Performing general gardening tasks including planting, fertilizing, and weed control
Conducting landscape maintenance activities such as edging, mulching, and aeration
Assisting with construction or installation projects related to outdoor spaces
Performing routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections to ensure proper functioning
Adhering to safety protocols during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor maintenance
Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair
Knowledge of excavation techniques and construction practices is a plus
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
