Wireline / E-line Operator
BGES is currently seeking an Experienced Wireline Operator/Driver who has the desire and skills to advance within the company. Key responsibilities include safely driving equipment to and from job sites, assisting in the assembly and maintenance of equipment & tools, completing vehicle and equipment safety inspections, and ensuring safe operations on the jobsite.

Job Description
Interested in joining our high-energy company with good prospects? We are looking for someone who can work well in a dynamic and “No BS” team/work environment. This position is based in Red Deer, AB.
Primary job responsibilities may include:
· Safely drive equipment to and from job sites
· Assist in the maintenance of equipment and tools
· Take/ follow direction from supervisor’s and management
· Rig in/out wireline units both stand alone and rig assist
· Complete a daily hazard assessment before starting work
· Spot equipment safely on sites
· Assemble and disassemble job specific tools and equipment as required
· Assist in the assembly of different perforating assemblies
· Clean, service and maintain equipment/tools upon job completion
· Report incidents, accidents or near misses, and not be afraid to speak up
Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess:
· Clean minimum 3Q license
· Strong communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
· Strong interpersonal skills; can work well in a team environment
· Self-motivation and able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Strong operational skills and knowledge equipment maintenance (mechanical aptitude)
· Willingness to work flexible schedules including long and/or irregular hours, especially during winter operation (Jan-Mar) of each year
· Proficiency with a cell phone and the ability to be on 24hr call
· Ability to promote safety awareness
· Willingness to learn, make continuous improvements, and grow within the company
· Safety Certifications preferred but not required (H2S, First Aid)
· Ability to accurately complete 300hr inspections, logbooks, and driver vehicle inspection reports
· Background check is legally required for the successful candidate due to the possible handling of explosives/dangerous goods
Compensation includes a monthly salary and competitive day rates.
