Location: Red Deer & Central Alberta, AB
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential renovations, insurance restoration, commercial tenant improvements, and new construction. We are looking for skilled professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by sanding, patching, filling, caulking, and priming.
Apply paint, stain, and specialty coatings to a high standard.
Complete drywall repairs and surface preparation as required.
Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and other trades.
Follow all safety regulations, site requirements, and workplace procedures.

Qualifications Required

Minimum 3 years of professional painting experience.
Experience in one or more of the following:
Residential renovations
Insurance restoration
Commercial tenant improvements
New construction projects.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to project sites throughout Central Alberta.
Physically capable of lifting, climbing ladders, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Own basic painting hand tools required for the trade.
CSA-approved safety footwear and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Assets

Experience with spray applications and fine-finishing work.
