We're growing fast and looking for a skilled hands-on mechanic to keep our equipment combat-ready year-round.
The Opportunity
We're hiring a Fleet Mechanic & Warehouse Supervisor to own our fleet maintenance and shop operations. You'll be responsible for keeping our trucks, loaders, plows, and salters running — and running well — while supervising our 10,800 sq. ft. facility in Bolton. This is a full-time, year-round position with a stable seasonal rhythm: summer is preventative maintenance and equipment prep, winter is fast-paced response and storm support.

What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks, loaders, plows, salters, and related equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Supervise our 10,800 sq. ft. shop and warehouse — keep it organized, safe, and running efficiently
- Manage parts inventory and ensure critical supplies are always on hand
- Implement and manage fleet tracking software — log work, schedule maintenance, produce readiness reports
- Coordinate with outside shops for warranty work and large repairs
- Manage vendor relationships for parts, supplies, and service contracts
- Support dispatch and field operations during snow events
- Train operators in equipment checks and basic maintenance
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment, fleet, or diesel mechanic
- Strong skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Comfortable with snow and ice management equipment (or willing to learn)
- Tech-comfortable — fleet management software, digital documentation, mobile devices
- Organized, self-directed, and reliable
- Available for on-call work during winter operations (Nov–April), including some evenings, weekends, and holidays during storm events
- Valid Ontario G-class driver's license with clean abstract
Nice to Have
- 310T (Truck and Coach Technician) or 421A (Heavy Equipment Technician) certification
- Experience with hydraulic snow equipment
- Welding or fabrication skills
- DZ or AZ driver's license
- Vendor management experience
