Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in commercial settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong organizational and communication skills while providing exceptional service to clients.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
Organize and restock cleaning supplies and household items efficiently
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests and ensuring their needs are met promptly
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and feedback
Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments

Requirements

Proficiency in English; French, Uummarmiutun, and Gwichʼin language skills are a plus
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hospitality is required
Strong organizational skills and excellent time management abilities
Ability to perform laundry tasks accurately
Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients professionally
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties efficiently throughout the shift

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Inuvik, NT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
