Description:
In this role, you will play a vital part in the delivery of all guest activities, and children’s summer camps. This is a multi-faceted role encompassing delivering daily resort activities for all ages and running the Discovery Zone daily, which includes, a climbing wall, euro-bungy and our Paradice Mining. This role also includes a position as a dynamic Panokids Summer camp leader for ages 3 – 12yrs.

You will ensure all activities & programs are set-up and delivered exceptionally each day for guests of all ages. In addition, you will be the face of Panorama Mountain Resort – providing all guests with information regarding events, races, venues, activities, camps, on-mountain activities and all of Panorama’s third-party companies. This is an outdoor position, and you will be expected to be outside daily.

Essential Functions:

Organization and coordination of our daily resort activities on our activities calendar.
Plan & deliver camp programs for our Panokids summer camps ages 3yrs to 12yrs.
Work the climbing wall, euro-bungy, Paradice Mining in the Discovery Zone.
Responsible for conducting daily safety checks on all activity’s equipment.
Confident to take summer campers (ages 6-12) to our Springs Outdoor Pools.
Assist the Activities and Camps manager and supervisors with functions and special events as required.
Accountable for dept. area daily maintenance of grounds, equipment & amenities
Other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements

Experience working with children 3yrs – 12yrs in an outdoor environment preferred.
Day camp/ summer camp experience preferred.
Experience working in the tourism industry in a guest service role helpful.
Water safety knowledge and basic first aid helpful.
Any first aid training helpful
Programs require physical versatility.
Cleared criminal records check.
