Position Overview

Nexatek is seeking a motivated, adaptable, and creative Office & Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to learn, gain hands-on experience, and grow with the company.

The position supports daily office operations while playing an active role in digital marketing and content creation, helping build Nexatek’s online presence across social media and digital platforms. With the right attitude and performance, this role offers the opportunity to grow into an Office Manager and/or Social Media & Content Lead position.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from the Columbia Valley who enjoys variety, creativity, and learning new skills in a fast-growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Office & Administrative Support

Assist with day-to-day office operations and general administration
Handle basic customer inquiries via email, phone, and social media
Organize documents, schedules, and internal systems
Support the team with ad-hoc tasks as the business grows

Digital Marketing & Content Creation

Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Capture and edit basic photos and videos using a smartphone or simple tools
Draft captions, short-form posts, and promotional content aligned with the brand
Help plan, schedule, and manage content across platforms
Assist with updating website content, blog posts, and digital marketing materials
Support basic marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand awareness initiatives
Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all content

Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable using a computer, email, and basic office software
Interest in social media, digital marketing, or content creation
Basic familiarity with tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar (training provided)
Willingness to learn new skills and take initiative
No formal marketing experience required — attitude and eagerness to learn matter most
