Journeyperson Plumbers & HVAC Technicians - Williams Lake & 100 Mile House, BC

Our client is looking for experienced Journeyman Plumbers and Journeyman HVAC/R Technicians to join a well-established mechanical services company serving communities in the Cariboo region of British Columbia. This opportunity is ideal for skilled trades professionals seeking long-term career stability, a supportive team environment, and a lifestyle that offers more balance outside of work.

Based in the Williams Lake and 100 Mile House areas, this role requires relocation to the Cariboo region. The employer is seeking individuals who value craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism while enjoying the benefits of smaller communities, shorter commutes, and year-round outdoor recreation.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and/or HVAC/R systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical system issues
Perform preventative maintenance and service work
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
Participate in on-call or emergency service rotations as required
Support apprentices and junior team members when needed

Qualifications

Journeyman certification in Plumbing or HVAC/R
Valid driver’s license
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Experience with residential and/or commercial service work
Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety procedures
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to relocate to the Cariboo region of British Columbia
Leadership or mentorship experience considered an asset
