Have you spent years running the highway and are ready for something a little different?
At Columbia Valley Freight, we're looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our Invermere team in a role designed around consistency, routine, and quality of life.
This isn't long-haul trucking.
There are no overnight trips, no sleeping in truck stops, and no weeks away from home.
Instead, you'll work Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 AM, finishing after approximately 7 hours, and spending every afternoon doing the things you enjoy.

About the Role
This position plays an important role in keeping our operation running smoothly.
Your day will primarily consist of:
- Moving trailers between our Invermere trailer yard and one of our major logistics partners.
- Delivering trucks and trailers to our Heavy Duty mechanics for scheduled maintenance and repairs.
- Relocating equipment throughout our local operation as required.
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Reporting maintenance concerns and equipment issues.
- Working closely with our operations team to ensure equipment is where it needs to be.
Every day is local. Every night, you're home.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Commercial driving experience.
- Strong backing and trailer handling skills.
- Safe, professional attitude with pride in your work.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Someone who treats equipment as if it were their own.
