Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Class 1 Cement Hauler to join our team. This role involves safely transporting cement and related materials to various sites (off-road oilfield experience and hauling), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 commercial trucks for the transportation of cement and bulk materials (casing).
Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit to prevent spillage or accidents.
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, to maintain safety standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, routes, and vehicle e-logs.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transit to ensure safe delivery schedules.
Assist with loading and unloading materials using other heavy equipment as needed.
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues promptly.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and any delays.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience in freight hauling, heavy equipment operation, or oilfield preferred.
Off-Road and Lease driving, along with E-Log (Motive) is advantageous.
Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus.
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and material handling.
Excellent organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation.
Ability to work independently and adhere to strict safety standards at all times. This position offers an opportunity for dedicated drivers to contribute to our operations while maintaining a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality service delivery.

Pay: $39.00 per hour
