ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES ASSISTANT

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating order, managing important details, and supporting a busy team in a meaningful way.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Managing and organizing electronic and physical documents and records
Preparing, formatting, and assembling document packages and reports
Coordinating document requests and follow-up communications with clients and third parties
Maintaining accurate filing systems and databases
Managing calendars, meetings, and scheduling requirements
Tracking deadlines, tasks, and administrative workflows
Supporting document review and quality control processes
Assisting with invoice processing and general administrative accounting support
Preparing materials for meetings, hearings, and special projects
Providing administrative support to ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively

WHAT YOU BRING

Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Strong technical skills and confidence learning new systems and software
The ability to work independently and take initiative

Competitive Compensation: the salary range for this role is $39,600 – $45,000 per annum. Within this range, individual pay is determined by market rates, job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees
Benefits Package: benefits package which includes a Health and Dental plan, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Telus Health, as well as an RRSP Program after one year of employment with the firm.
Paid Time Off: vacation time starts at 3 weeks, 10 sick days per year.

HOURS OF WORK

This position is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. This is a 7-hour paid day, 35-hour work week.
